Abominations upon Abominations

Children of God, as you peer out into this troubled world of ours, and witnessing before your very eyes abominations upon abominations, a planet of people who no longer know right from wrong, who keep adding sin to sin, consider your calling from God seriously. Your calling should not be taken lightly!

The prophetic book of Isaiah gives us a heads up about these dangerous times that would come upon humanity. Isa. 5:20 informs us, “ Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!²¹ Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!”

We are seeing many abominations against the Living God being treated as nothing out of the ordinary. Of course, nations and peoples have drifted so far from God, even among those whom He is calling, that they can longer recognize evil for what it is and similarly good for it is. Pity.

To compound the problem, they have already relegated YAHWEH to either being dead, non-existent, the same as the false gods of this Earth, or inept, and does not know what He’s doing.

The moral decay has brought us thus deep that the master of deception, Satan the Devil, has been able to deceive the whole world (Rev. 5:12) with little difficulty. The resultant effect is God’s people are the ones being demonized, as haters, fanatics, bigots, homophobic and all the ugly names you can conceive. But don’t you worry, 2 Tim 3:2, has already told us what will happen in the last days.

^“For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,³ Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,⁴ Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;⁵ Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.⁶ For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,⁷ Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

Children of God, your Makes has opened your eyes. God is showing you through His word what the end-time scenario will be like. You can read the above scripture and see clearly how the Word of God is unfolding in these closing days of human history.

We have just finished observing the Feast of Firstfruits or Pentecost. The church is going to be in the first resurrection, described as the better resurrection. We are going to be the firstfruits at Christ’s coming (1. Cor. 15:20). Therefore, when you look up and see the abominations upon abominations taking place and all of what Matthew 24 is telling us, we know we have to prepare for our redemption which is drawing nigh.

The next holy day or annual Sabbath on God’s “appointed times” is the Feast of Trumpets on September 30. The sound of the trumpet will usher in Christ’s glorious return. As we look forward to celebrating God’s festival, and not the man-made ones such as Christmas, let us pray for the trumpet to sound sooner rather than later to usher in His Kingdom everlasting kingdom.
