Are you watching?

Many events are taking place on our planet. They might be too many for our finite minds to grasp. While most of them are secular, man-made, natural occurring, or even the Divine, often times they happen without due acknowledgement.

Yet the days are slipping by, and time waits for no one. We celebrate the birthdays each year, and they come quicker than we can ever imagine, not realizing that in a sense, a birthday should be used as a wake-up call to take stock of our lives and where we are heading.  What’s in the future for me?

When this breath goes, and out lifeless bodies are cast down to the “pit” what else matters in this life? All the wealth we would have accumulated, if any, or all the good times and the bad times we endure during our sojourn on Earth, what will they come to – nought!

People will reflect on life matters at the beginning of the calendar year, but given a couple weeks into it, and it’s all forgotten. The burdens of life take their toll and they pressure us into forgetfulness, unawareness and not enough concerns to the weightier matters of life.

We are still in the grips of a pandemic. If there was an ever a time for introspection, it is now! Why? The Holy Bible describes these tumultuous times as” the beginning of sorrows,” or the start of the birth pangs. They start out on a small scale and then they intensify each time they resurface; perhaps not as a pandemic, but something else that affects our lives – an earthquake, tsunami, unusual hurricanes, volcanic eruption, and so on.

We watch our news daily. What do we look for? The latest gossip out of Hollywood or in the corruption that goes on in our political arena? The latest styles to emerge out of the world leading fashion capitals, or the latest song to hit the charts? People can choose to be engaged in whatever they choose to, at any moment or at anytime. It’s their choice. However, make no mistake about it, the time is coming when you would wish you had paid more attention to the events happening around you.

This civilization won’t last forever. Even our scientists and bright minds speak of the big crunch to come. In their conclusions, the universe began with an explosion, the so-called Big Bang, and it will end with a big implosion. Of course, this is all theory.

Soon and very soon, some things, as we know them are going to change. There will be divine intervention into the affairs of humanity. This civilisation will end to make way for a new one that will last forever. That time for change is upon us. Perhaps in our life time, perhaps not. The Bible tells us what to do though. First of all we must repent so that our sins against the Great God will be blot out by the saving blood of Jesus, the Christ, who paid the price for our transgressions.

Then what? Matt. 24:42 advises us, “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”  Are you watching? For more on this subject, download FREE our booklet EVIDENCE OF THE END TIMES.
